The Coalition for a Tobacco-Free Louisiana (CTFLA) is a network of non-profit, state, and private organizations with a shared vision to prevent tobacco use and exposure to secondhand smoke.
The Coalition aims to strengthen policies that protect against the harmful effects of tobacco and encourage smoke-free living. The Coalition is housed at the Louisiana Public Health Institute (LPHI), which serves as its administrative home. |

| The mission of the Coalition for a Tobacco-Free Louisiana is to decrease the negative impact of tobacco use on the health of our communities by advocating for policies that prevent tobacco use, protect the health of non-smokers and promote tobacco-free lifestyles. |

• Increase the number of communities who have passed local ordinances in support of smoke-free workplaces
• Repeal state preemption to enable communities to create second hand smoke protections on a local level
• Increase the number of businesses and institutions that adopt smoke free policies
• Ensure sustained tobacco control policy activities in Louisiana
